I liked the navy and Khaki bill cap so much I bought another in all blue however it was not the same hat as far as construction, fit, looks and I was very dissapointed. I will not wear it.

This is a great looking cap. A few years ago I found it in a rich looking brown and now I got the blue. Awesome to wear flying or to the beach. And as usual, Sportys is great. I started buying from them years ago when I got my license and the catalogs are still just as exciting to browse.
Its not the same hat thats been around for years.......Don't like the stiff front panels.....the cloth is not that same heavy gauge cotton.Does not have Aopa sewn into the back of the hat.The new hats are slightly taller too.

Disappointed that its not like the old hats...and will not purchase another one. The old version was an awesome product..........

I like this hat. Looks good and is well made. I did make a very negative comment on another hat I purchased from Sporty's but this one does not have the Sporty's tag inside.

Not the same hat it used it used be, looks and feels of lower quality, colors arentthe same hues. The new AOPA hat is "just another hat",doesn't have that look and and feel of being "the" AOPA hat.

Excellent materials and workmanship. Easy to fit with the Velcro strap, and there is no "button" on top (a problem when wearing a headset).
Cons
The GIANT logo on the front could be a bit smaller. More understated.

This is a great hat, and came well packaged (boxed - not smashed into a mail bag). I can't really comment on durability or reliability yet as I've only had the hat for a couple of weeks, but if the hat ever fails in flight you can be sure I'll return here and post a follow-up comment on reliability :-)
