Poorly designed,the tolerances are so close that if the holes in the plates are off even a little bit they will not fit... Had they been larger this would not be an issue and they would be much easier too load and unload...

bit hard to get FAA 'thin' paper into protectors, trimmed plates a bit, and much easier.

These are great for protecting all your plates. I probably have way too many of them, but I like storing my plates in them and leaving them. I've got a couple hundred of them and I want more!

These are nice for IFR training, easier to handle quickly.
Cons
It is difficult to tell what you are buying from the website photos and description. I wasn't sure if I was getting the pullout versions or not. I wanted the ones with the cut holes but didn't get them so I just cut them myself with a scissors.

Keeps plate clean/dry. Easy to find the ones you set up. Easy to read them...they don't fold up.

If you put anything copied in there, the toner will stick to the inside.

Sleeves open from the side making it very easy to slide individual approaches in. These protectors do a good job of protecting the charts I use regularly, and I'm a student instrument pilot at the University of Dubuque.
