Fun discussion piece. Grandkids loved playing with Granddad pretending to radio ATC and landing. Without moveable parts, not too helpful for training, but I would still buy it to visualize landings and take offs.

This is basically a toy diecast 172. It does help to visualize ground school concepts that would be otherwise confusing, without actually being in the aircraft. I personally used it to help my understanding of compass errors, and have demonstrated crosswind landing techniques and stalls to others. The prop and main wheels may not hold up if you dropped it or if your kid brother/sister got a hold of it.

A great asset for any instructor. I have used this to illustrate several points to students and they all commented that they learned much more effectively when this miniature was used.
Cons
Propeller is flimsy plastic that seems like it might break easily if not cared for well. The price is also a little higher than I would expect.
