Easily applied to the sunglasses and they can be moved to the right position while they are still wet.

If you cut them to fit a certain way you can not put them back together. They are not the easiest to cut due to their thickness (I have the 1.5 magnification)

They work OK but are a little distorted at the top of the lens and I think they are about $10 over priced for what they are.

Map reading made easy

These things work just like reading glasses. They're easy to put on your sunglasses, they stay when you put them on, they're bloody marvelous!

I first started using these 20 years ago, more or less, and I've never found anything to complain about. There are no cons, so far as I have been able to determine.

Even though I've got 20/20 vision, my arms are just the teensiest bit too short, especially in a shadowed aircraft cabin. One thing I always hated was switching back and forth between my sunglasses and my reading glasses, or worse yet, wearing two pairs of glass (sunglasses and reading glasses) just so I could read the charts in my lap. With these little jewels, that's never an issue. Stick them on your sunglasses (about a 3 minute procedure), put your sunglasses on, and you're ready to rock and roll. It's like having bifocals with no prescription on top, and a reading prescription on the bottom. Believe me, this is one really great product. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Ease of application to your sunglasses.

They do not adhere for long periods of time. You need to remove them and put them in their case after use. If they dry out and fall off you'll never find them again.

Very high priced. The same item can be purchased elsewhere for much, much less.

Sporty's should review their pricing policy. I've heard from many of my friends that they would be purchasing more items from Sporty's if they would be more competitive.

Good idea, but some execution problems

Simple and cheap approach to adding bifocals to existing sunglasses.

Placement is sensitive to curvature of the sunglass lens, and may not be able to affix in ideal eye position.

Material is more rigid than expected, which contributed to issues above.

They worked great, allowed me to read the bike computer readout while wearing my Oakleys

Unfortunately one of the lenses fell off while I was riding my bike, I stopped as soon as possible considering the traffic in the area returned to look for it but was unable to find it.

Works well as advertised but lens fell off and was lost!

Easy to use after I gained proficiency.

I lost one of the lenses on the second day when it fell away. So, I now have one "eye" in that sunglasses. The other lens is doing well and remains adhered.

In the ad it was not clear if I was purchasing one lens or one set.
I ordered two and received two sets which is ok since I have sunglasses in each car so I always have one available when I fly.

It makes regular Sunglasses reading glasses and cheaper than buying prescription sunglasses.
It's a great idea.

They don't stick on as I was expecting with a self adhesive.
Using water can be inconvenient sometimes, especially when on the road or in the air.
After I stored them in a case for a while, the lenses came off.
It appears that they need to be reapplied with water periodically.

I would suggest a small area on two sides that is sticky to more permanently apply them to a pair of sunglasses.

1st the picture shows 4 lenses. Only 2 were delivered. Next when installed there are bubbles between the lenses and the glasses. Finally one of the lenses fell off in the cockpit. These ere truly awful.

Don't sell these unless you want to ruin an otherwise highly regarded reputation. I will pass my experience on to all other pilots I meet.

They exceeded my expectations. Just as advertised, easy to install, good quality and much, much less than prescription!

I can use them on any glasses, dark or not, cheap or expensive, without involving an optometrist. They are cheap enough so I can make up several pairs of glasses with different strengths for various purposes, and change them around if I need to. I'm an avid do it myself person, so they work very well for me. I can experiment all I want to get the positioning and shape just as I want it. With some savvy about how one's body works, what strength (diopter) one needs and how the lenses work, even though a bit finicky, they are easy enough to install on glasses.

I got another pair of lenses from another Internet source for about 1/3 the cost of the ones I got from Sporty's. Don't know why Sporty's has to make them so expensive, especially the shipping.

There is an implication, from the picture, that there are 4 lenses per set, instead of 2. However, if one reads the copy carefully, it does say there are two. I hope Sporty's changes the picture to eliminate that confusion.

I have not had them long enough (2 weeks) to rate reliability or durability, but I suspect it is good.

The lenses can be finicky to install and get correctly positioned if one is not too handy. For me, getting them in the right place on the glasses was the most difficult part. However, with reasonable body awareness, patience and skill with hands, these lenses are great. To be fair, this is the first time I have ever dealt with bifocal glasses of any kind, so there has been a learning curve. I found myself to be very picky about the exact placement. I have mine right now, and I love them. Took about 4 days of experimenting.

They won't stick. At least not to the polycarbonite lens of my shooting glasses. I think I followed the directions. I've already lost one. any Recs?
