You really have to get to the very bottom of the lens for the magnification, which makes them awkward. If you happen to look through the middle of the lens, you're in the transition area that is good for seeing nothing. You're limited to the very top and very bottom of the lens. | Probably alright if you're just going to use them on the beach. Would not recommend for flying or driving. ConsThese were not at all satisfactory for flying. The darkened lens does not taper to a lighter shade and the correction starts up too high on the lens. This necessitates sliding the glasses down your nose to see distance. ConsYou have to get used to the side to side distortion when you move your head quckly. Initially it tends to be a little like vertigo. You do get used to it.
