It got my wife interested enough in the mechanics of flying that she is requesting I take her up and let HER try it. She has always loved flying, but now wants to give it a try heself! This has lead to an increase in "approvals from the boss" to allow me to get up in the air!

Appears that this was made on a recordable DVD, possibly done from a typical desktop computer. While this is not a major problem generally, I was unaware of this fact when I bought the video, and there were some moments where my older DVD player had trouble recognizing the disk (as is a known issue with my DVD player). This degraded the "quality time" with the wife, and could have been averted had I simply known this was the issue in the first place.

Well produced video. Entertaining and easy to understand. I'm trying to get my wife more engaged in our flying so I thought I'd try this. She sat through the whole thing and thought it was entertaining and informative.

Does a good job of providing an overview of what to expect when flying in a light general aviation aircraft.

A great video particularly for nervous or new passengers to light aircraft. We have watched it a couple of times with my wife and also with my friend who has just purchased a C177 and his wife was new to the small aircraft world also. The humor used by the presenter is great.

I was visiting in Arizona and had the product sent to that address. Delivery was very prompt as advertised and I was able to bring the video home with me to Canada.

There is a slight digital glitch about 2/3rds of the way through the video. It is possible to fast forward past this spot but it does detract from an otherwise great product.

very useful for non-pilots and enhances SAFETY.

it's not applicable for cabin crew of airliners(glass cockpits) in case of pilot incapacitation.

it would really be nice if you can make a version for cabin crew of glass cockpit airliners such as the Airbus A320 so it can be very useful for our airline's cabin crew training in case of a very unlikely but still possible two pilot incapacitation emergency where the cabin crew will be the only one left to fly and land the A320. this will surely enhance SAFETY! and please let me know as soon as you come out with this one, thanks.

The disk gives non-pilots a look at flying basics.

A little corny.

Makes landings sound truly easy. While this might instill confidence and calm in passengers, it is misleading.

It does a pretty good job, though could go a little more in depth into things that a passenger could definitely help with, like reading a chart and navigation, and less into things that they will likely not participate in, like landings.

Not all of us aspire to be pilots. I currently enjoy being a "right seater" because I can fly, look around, enjoy great company, go to great destinations and not have to worry about the responsibility of flying the plane.
