The headset fit much better than the adult sized head sets and he seemed to be comfortable wearing it for the 1 hr flight. The headset came with a replacement head band for when he grows out of the child sized one which makes it a great value IMO. Unlike some of the other child headsets I've seen, this one has metal parts instead of the cheaper plastic parts so I get the feeling it will last. ConsNone. General CommentsWe've only used it once so far but from what I've seen I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone. |

This seemed to be the only company that supplies a childs headset so I purchased it. It does fit very well and removed one of the worries she had for going flying with "Poppy". It fits so much better and allows the microphone to stay in front of her mouth so she didn't have to keep trying to lift the microphone to her mouth when using the adult headset. So far it seems to be holding up very well even when she takes it off and places it on the baggage shelf in my Bonanza. The kit to convert it to an adult headset as she grows into it seemed to make the purchase worth the money. ConsIt only comes in one color and her mother thought the blue color "clashed" with her red hair. General CommentsThe youth headset seemed to help ease her fear of going flying. Many times the 6 year old sat in the plane but would not agree to fly because she didn't like the poor fitting headset. This youth headset seemed to sort of get her over the hump and start to enjoy her flight. Now if we could only land at McDonalds the second major problem would be over. |
