these things are great!!!!! i read somewhere that a person thought the glow funcntion was a waste since these were usually in the bottom of his flight bag and need light to make them glow. this is true, however just a hint of light will make these glow for hours. keeps new batteries in one location, locked secure enough to where they will not fall out. very well designed product. the only problem i have with these is, i didn't find out about them sooner!

Good product

Carries enough AAs to be useful for backup. Small and compact. Hard to miss the green colored case. Easy to feel for in a flight bag and know what you've got. Protects battery terminals to minimize chances of accidental discharge. Batteries fit snugly but not so much to make them difficult to remove.

A bit pricey. Glow-in-the-dark feature doesn't seem to retain that ability for very long (not exposed to a lot of light buried in a flight bag...), so the utility is questionable.

Does what I expected it to. Plastic seems like it might be a bit brittle; be interesting to see how it holds up to abuse (e.g., dropping) and age.

Great way to store batteries. Keeps their contacts from touching. Takes up very little room in the glove box.
