Consvery very boring and isn't structured well at least for the written exam. when i took the practice test not much was in the videos so i had to study the answers to every practice test from scratch. General Comments The pace is very slow and boaring. some technical aspects are not explained well. As for the FAA written exam, nothing in the lecture segments have prepared me in any way for the questions. You start guessing, taking wild stabs. |

After the instrument rating I am going to start my instructor rating. I hope sporty's has a course for me to use that is as good as the instrument course is. The graphics and animations are great tools for a visual learner like myself. After watching the first set of videos, I started to taking notes in a composition book. I have filled half of that book with notes from watching the videos. A lot of the stats and facts on the videos are rattled off quickly - it would be helpful if there was a document that had all of the memorization and study materials documented for each of the video segments. I think it's a good system. I would have expected the online version to cost less than the DVD version. I chose the DVD version only because I wanted to be able to use it from my computer at the office as well as my computer at home, but since the DVD version and the online version are the same price, it was not an easy decision to make. |
