    Great transceiver
    Pros

All around great product and accessories. Very good build quality

    Cons

No lithium battery available. Instruction not clear on battery charging, and if it was charged at the factory. I played it safe and charged before first use.

    General Comments

    Good product and great price.

    Outstanding Radio
    Pros

    Feels Durable
Comes with Headset adapter, charging cradle, 12v adapter
    Good Range

    General Comments

I was very pleased when I recieved this radio, feels and looks excellent. Menu Navigation took some getting use to for me but isn't terrible. Range seemed good to me but being my first handheld I don't have a good frame of reference. On the ground I regularly hear traffic @ 1000 AGL >10nm. On good days I sometimes hear traffic >30mi away.

    General Comments

Every Pilot should have a back-up com. Hearing ATIS or AWOS in advance helps save plane battery and time. Good value and built well. What I expected. Keys are small so nighttime op takes patience. Battery lasts a long time between charges.

Liked the size for operation and readability of the face. The minis are almost impossible to read and operate.

    Good investment
    Pros

Good price for features. Battery stays charged for many months. Very wonderful back up as many rental planes have less than great radios. Have used it once during a actual radio failure and it worked great. Also very nice to listen in to whats going on around the airport and to listen to AWOS or ATIS with out having the aircrafts master on.

    Cons

Some features are a little hard to remember how to use so keep the book available.

    General Comments

Good investment in your safety in the event of a radio failure. Has the adapter for headset use with it.
