Needs a dry eraser and apears to be easily cracked. Anxious to see how the unit holds up.

Works well at what it is supposed to do.

Easily scratched.

Chart holder works as advertised, although care must be taken so that it is easily scratched.

It holds the sectional maps well. It makes it very easy to pull up the map and not deal with folding/unfolding. You don't have to worry about tearing a map.

It really helps at night because you don't have to fumble so much with your map in the dark.

I'm going to have to sand down the edges until they're rounded off. I've cut myself twice.

If you need to see an area of the map that's outside of what you've folded, then you have to take it out of the holder. (actually, this isn't even a problem because I carry an extra map in my kneeboard.

It's too large to fit in the side pocket in any of the aircraft I've flown. I have to put it between the seats which leaves the possibility that it could slide around.

It's fantastic, and I've used it on all of my cross countries so far.

Light weight, easy to store. The included marker makes it easy to use as a quick note pad for ATC instructions, etc. Easy to wipe off info written on the plastic.

Extremely way overpriced for what it is. I checked on the internet for plastic piano hinges, and found dozens of them that were the very same exact ones used on this product for less than $2.00 and all that is required to make this thing is to buy two very thin pieces of plexiglass (about $6 at the local hardware store) and cut out the front and back pieces and simply glue them to the plastic piano hinges. This product could be very easily made by anyone with a small jigsaw and about 15 or 20 minutes of time. The $30-35 price tag is a bit of a ripoff for no more than what it is. From now on, I will simply make my own, now that I know how.

Good, useful product. Handy in the cockpit, but it is way overpriced. I would recommend a price of about $12-15 for this product, at the very most. I can make one for far less than that.

Would recommend this product for it's usefulness, but not at the current price.

Ease of use

Scratches easily. I have not used it enough to be sure, but it looks as though it cannot handle semi-rough use in the cockpit.

I like the concept.

Made of really strong plexi-glass - very sturdy from what I can tell.

This is really just a couple of plexi-glass sheets super glued to an acrylic plexi-glass hinge with a few snips of velcro.

Great idea on the surface I thought, but I found it much to bulky to deal with in a tight cockpit vs a standard knee board and folded chart.

I sliced my finger manipulating the charts the first time - no terrible problem but just not the quality I would expect for 30 bucks.

I generally love the products I order from Sporty's. They arrive in just a day or two and are always (except this time) exactly what I want. I would like a refund on this product if there is an option.

Good idea and ease of use

Too thin of plastic - mine even broke in shipment even though well packed.
The Velcro pieces are too large, making it too difficult to open.

Would not recommend in present form.

Can hold two different charts at the same time, one on each side. Keeps charts in like new condition. You can write all your flight notes directly on product without damaging your charts. Makesflight planning easier.

Product is glued together. No idea on durability.

Good product to have in your aircraft. Product protects and keeps your charts clean and easy to handle.

GREAT TO WRITE ON OVER AND OVER. CHANGS ARE EASY AND DONT MESS UP YOUR CHART

Paper maps seem to stay in position far more easily than I expected

A bit expensive for what it is - but it works well

It is also a good place to clip my stopwatch

Pleased I bought this - it does the trick and is less easy to leave behind by accident in the aircraft
