It has lots of room and makes everything easy to get to. I can fit all my needed charts, my flight computer, license and medical, logbook, and a few pens all inside; and I still have room to spare. However, I use it more as a knee board. I purchased a small metal clipboard and inserted it in the second pocket from the right. Works great!! I use the pockets for charts, checklists, individual approach plates, etc. It has place for pens, pencils and even a pair of small reader glasses.
