The size of these cushions make it appear that they would distribute the pressure comfortably. But I found the pressure to feel as though it were in a narrow band I guess because of the rounder shape. I had to return them and continue with the thinner foam filled cushions which came with the headset (after finding a replacement for a damaged one). The foam filled are flatter and less thick so they create less pressure and distribute it along a wider line, a noticeable difference. General CommentsLike just about everyone else that commented, it was not easy at first to mount these cushions on the headset. I found that by concentrating my pulling pressure only on the stitched seam, and not pulling on the oval cushion itself, then it would slide over the retaining ring fairly easily. Good luck. |

ConsTrying to put these things on a headset is not easy. I found the best way was to put the headset head band between my legs, with the earphones pointing up. That way you can use both hands to get these things on the earphones. General CommentsI had an old David Clarke 10-40 headset that I bought in 1993. The earphones were flat/non existent. Had major noise (esp with sunglasses) around the ear cups. Once I replaced the old worn out pair, it's like a new headset. i'll now probably get another 20 years from them. |
