The POH checklists are very brief (in new models they are much more comprehensive). This checklist is very detailed, and easy to follow. Grease, oil, and dirt wipe off of the laminated material with ease. Emergency procedures are easy to find quickly. Additional info (such as METAR abbreviations) are helpful, too. A must-have item! |

ATC light gun signals, ICAO Alphabet, Flight Plan etc. Seems like some of the pages you should avoid getting wet. A bug problem here in Oregon. |

Spiral bind is useful as you walk around the plane on pre-flight and while sitting in the left seat doing your checklists. Logical organization of sections, easy to read, colorful. Not that expensive for what you get. Specific info for your plane's model and year. Be sure you get the right year! ConsAds on some inside pages (generally section bookmarks.) Since it has so much info, those looking for a basic checklist may find it slower to use than you may want. If that's the case, buy the "pro" version, which is more basic -just the checklists. If you rent different years of the same plane model, the info will change -this is not a generic checklist! For example, the 1975 and 1976 Skyhawk checklists are different! General CommentsA must have unless you have memorized every last detail of your specific year/model of plane. Crack open the wallet and spring for the 18 bucks, you wont regret it. |
