It covers all the information you need for your various stages of flight from the preflight to shutdown. Pages are fully encased in heavy plastic protection to prevent damage, etc. Binding is sturdy and will not break apart. The emergency pages are not specially marked as distinct from the rest of the pages. While emergency procedures are surrounded in bold red, it would make better sense if the pages were marked on the outside edges to show that they contain emergency information. That way you could go to the easily in flight rather than page through the whole book to find them. General CommentsVery good quality book, laid out to the flows you would follow. |

Date - 12-12-2008 Rating - Student OverallDurability Reliability Value Usability Expected Recommended Yes | Has the essential charts from the IM/POH and perhaps a better flow for the p/f and pretaxi steps than the Cessna manual uses. Like the equipment setup checks vice the "equipment set" as in the Cessna manual. The Descent/Approach phase overlaps and is not as clear as it could be for this phase. Missing Landings, normal and short. Adding soft field would be nice too since the Cessna manual skips this too and the rest of the check list does a very nice job of expounding on some of the vague steps. General CommentsOnly other change would be perhaps tabs for the different sections or color coding to speed up finding sections. |

In comparing to the aircraft checklist it seems that 99% of the information is correct and in the same sequence. There were a few areas which were slightly different but I don't believe it missed anything. I like the fact that emergency lists are included along with lot's of other general information.
