| I really like this product. Great value for any safe pilot. It is very light weight. I forget that I have it on my cap brim until I can't see something, and then I am glad it is there. ConsIt does use a "watch" battery so I haven't tried to purchase one yet, but it is light weight with the "watch" battery. (So this really isn't a CON) General CommentsI am a student pilot on a night cross country with my flight instructor when my instrument panel "mood" lights went out. I could not see my call sign for the Skyhawk 172. I had to put my fashlight between my legs and fly the plane -- not very effective or safe. I bought this visor clip flashlight and it works great. I never have to be without a light shining right where I am looking when I need it. I have used it around the house also. I love this product. My flight instructor wants one too. Be safe...buy one. |

I had a bulb go out about 10 minutes before I needed to set up for a night heavy crosswind landing. My options were to get the screwdriver out of the glove compartment and do some in-flight bulb changing or wear this little gadget, it was an obvious choice. The lights are surprisingly bright and make it very easy to read the gauges, without being so bright as to mess with your vision. ConsNot a one. General CommentsYou need this product. If you have any ambitions of night-flying, it's a little foolish not to have at least one. There is absolutely no compromise when it comes to a product that can save your life. Getting your face close to the gauges when you are setting up for a landing would be incredibly foolish and dangerous, so I highly recommend keeping this little light around. |
