Very Bright

This flashlight was purchased to replace one which was stolen and hasn't yet received enough use to evaluate the durability and reliability, but should be even better than the Halogen bulb unit it replaces. I have always been fully satisfied with Maglite products. The LED lamp is definately brighter than the halogen bulb.

Lightweight and easy to handle.

Requires two hands to turn on and off. No way to hook-up a cord etc. for neck strap.

Good light from a small easy to handle flashlight.

regular mag light, nothing amazing.

too expensive for it, wasn't as impressed as I thought I would've been. The lens cap continues to fall off and really makes night flights difficult.

It is alright, but expected better, should just buy the lenses and place them in the spot of the regular white ones works out much better.

Sturdy and quality construction, like all Maglights.

Slightly different diameter and length than previous AA Maglights, so that the accessory kit doesn't fit properly--had to wrap the lens end with electrical tape to keep the lens adapter on. The accessory kit comes with a lanyard, but the flashlight's end cap has no place to hook it, unlike previous AA Maglights. Tried to swap end caps with an older AA Maglight, and it doesn't fit, either. So while the life limit of LEDs is an improvement, I'm not sure the other changes are improvements at all, and in the case of no place to hook the lanyard, definitely not an improvement.

Pretty pricey for the changes--and some of the changes aren't either necessary or improvements.

Maglites are always good stuff.

A little long, you need deep pockets to use this with the clip

I'm always happy with Maglite stuff. The red and blue lenses are great for night flying. Sporty's always does a great job on the orders and such. Keep up the good work!

Flashlight itself

no place to carry lens. Wrist strap with no way to connect to flashlight.

Mag durability without having to worry about carrying a spare bulb. Very bright beam.

Like all LED lights, the spectrum is a little slanted towards the blue. The accessory kit comes with a lanyard but the tail cap of this light doesn't have the attachment point for the lanyard which is why this gets a 4.

I'm always skeptical of LED lights, but I figured MagLite has their reputation on the line and they wouldn't stake that on junk. I think I was right. This ligh is incredibly bright and aside from the LED bulb is indistinguishable from any other MagLite, so it's just as durable and if you do break anything all your old mag lite parts will work.

Nice light and with pocket clip easy to keep handy.

I used it while we were doing night jumps at our skydiving drop zone and someone else liked it so much they stole it. Sure wish I had one.
