I do like the flexible neck and it's small size. It's great you can clip it on a clipboard and point it where you want it, BUT..... ConsThe small rubber button that allows you to turn the light on/off keeps falling out. The thing fell out within 5 minutes of oppening the package. I was able to re-insert the rubber button and thought maybe it was a fluke and I'd go ahead and use it in the cockpit. Well, tonight in the dark I the rubber button fell off again...fortunately the light was on so I could continue using it for the rest of the flight. General CommentsDon't waste your money on this one. Regardless of how great an idea this light is, it's worthless if you can't turn it on and off. |

Metal clip is small so I had to use cable ties to attach securely to kneeboard binder. I did a lot of research and this seems to be the only small red LED flexible light on the market that uses a single AAA battery. It is ideally suited for use on a kneeboard during night flight. Others are either too large, have very bright white LEDs, and if they are small use rare and expensive coin cell batteries. |

Clips to my headset which will be handy. The brightness is just adequate to illuminate an instrument panel in a small aircraft like a Cessna 150.
