 Seems to be quality construction, nice looking bag, lots of pockets. The specially designed pockets for different items are nice if you have the specific item (see cons!) ConsActually holds less than my free Jeppesen student pilot bag. All the specially designed pockets are nice for organization but leave little room for anything but exactly what the designer intended. Any odd sized items - like a non-Sporty's flashlight etc. were difficult to fit. General CommentsBe sure to double check measurements - the width and length are including the pockets etc. Make sure to take the interior compartment measurements into consideration. I returned this bag because it just wasn't quite big enough, but I'm sure it is a nice bag for someone who does not like to carry as much stuff. |

Takes everything I need for most flights. Plenty of pockets for storing charts, flashlight etc. ConsOnly disappointment I have is that there is no easy place to store approach charts which, given the name "IFR Bag", seems wrong. En-route charts fit in the outside pocket but my approach plates have to go inside. General CommentsI like this bag a lot. |

It forced me to evaluate what I was bringing with me and why. ConsMy kneeboard tends to get kind of thick. It fits in the large side pocket, but barely. General CommentsI really love this bag. It's light and compact. I used the two dividers close together near the middle of the center compartment -- between them my A/FD(s), airplane manual, and logbook stand up nicely, with room for 2 headsets at either end of the compartment. Currently my bag contains my headset, fuel tester, aforementioned books, mini plotter, GATS jar (in the water bottle holder -- perfect fit!), sunglasses, 2 flashlights, pencils/pens, substantial kneeboard, charts, and more with room to spare. Best of all, it's all neatly organized so I can find it in flight. |

Several side pockets make small items accessible. ConsI wish it was just a little bit deeper so I could stand up my IFR approach plates. The included dividers aren't big enough to be put in horizontally, so I don't use them (you couldn't get the approach plates in correctly... for an IFR bag!). Also, the zipper for the main pocket doesn't move as easy and other flight bags I've had, so that's why I rated it a little less in the "easy to use" category.
