Best yolk I've ever tried

Large mounting bracket with 3 different placement settings allows proper installation on almost any desk or counter top. Realistic size.

Self-centering spring on the pitch axis of the yolk is a bit too strong, makes holding a constant climb or descent rate difficult.
Cannot get FSX to identify the throttle quadrant detents for reverse throttle or prop feathering.

Plug and play and much more realistic than a joystick configuration.

Saitek Yoke & Throttle quadrant

The product is very realistic. The yoke and throttle work great.

I had a few minor issues with having to continuously reset the buttons on the yoke and throttle to what I wanted them to control but after a few times of playing, they saved. No other issues to report.

Using it for practice for IFR training. Fairly sensitive but realistic with MS Flight Sim X. It is helping me once you get the operational characterisitics down. Well made, and durable.

Fairly large takes up a bit more room than I had avail on desk but that is not a big problem

The control column sticks as you make a climbing/descending turn and makes for choppy pitch changes. Bought the product to practice instrument approaches and was dissapointed by the performance.

I've only used this a few weeks, so can't really judge how it'll hold up. But so far, I'm quite happy with it. It seems to be well designed and fairly sturdy. I'm running FSX on a 2.5GHz/3GB/320GB HP laptop with external monitor, USB keyboard and mouse attached. No problems yet and I'm happy with the way the system responds. A powered 7-port USB expansion hub I had lying around was a big help in getting everything tied in.

The yoke plugged in and was recognized by FSX immediately. Of course I had to spend some time in the "settings" window to assign buttons to functions and set yoke response.

I purchased the Saitek rudder pedals seperately. They're a nice option but not really needed. 90% of the Saitek/FSX functionality is available using the yoke/quadrant alone.

Was upgrading from my old game port yoke to this and I am glad I did. Much better response time as well as easier to use customizable buttons. Works great on Win7 & XP x64 bit systems. The USB hub allows me to plug in other devices such as Rudder, Control Panels, Keyboard, etc...

The desk clamp seems a little cheap but it works.

Feels more realist than the CH product. The clock in the yoke is a great touch and works well when used as a timer.

It takes a little getting used to. Some buttons are in different places after using the CH. I haven't yet figured out how to get two throttles to work with the yoke.

Overall, I like this better than the CH. The feel and control are superior.

Works perfectly with FSX.
2 built in USB connections.
Built in timer.
Switches can be configured for many different applications.
Throttle quad is an excellent addition.
Easy to use.

Yoke can be a little "tempermental" sometimes.
Throttle quad has a propriatory connector so you can't use it stand-alone.
A little pricey.

Overall, this is a very good product if you are serious about flight sims as I am. The yoke and throttole quad performed surprisingly well.
I was a little disappointed with how the yoke sometimes "got a mind of its own" during a few flights. It would ascend or decend the plane on its own. (LOL and no....no AP engaged).
The construction is very sturdy hard durable plastic, and looks like it will hold up to the many hrs I spend flying. I also loved the built in timer right in front of you, it really helps in timing your approaches.
It also has 2 built in USB connectors (which I thought was brilliant) freeing up slots on your PC.
Not so nice was the circular connector that the throttle quad has on it. It will only connect to the yoke itself, limiting its use as a "stand-alone" device.
I would definately recommend this product to anyone who already spends hours on FSX, and who wants to add a touch of realism to their flights.
Lastly, I would like to thank Sporty's for their excellent customer support, and delivering as promised. I would definately purchase from them again.

Everything I expected in a yoke of this caliber

Sticks a little on the elevator back pressure causing sudden and unexpected lift.

Puts my Flight sim X in a more professional flight mode. Especially in the Cessna's twins with prop and Mixture controls. The yoke has the feel of a real aircraft handling, and control. It's the best I've had............

My overall review of the Pro Flight Yoke System is very durable in its construction. I have it mounted to my desk in front of my 19 inch flat monitor and have yet to be able to use it. No stickiness in the movement of the yoke for aileron or elevator control. The LED display is very readable and functions well.

My overall review of this product is less than satisfactory in being that the throttle quadrant quit working on me after the third day I had it plugged into my yoke system and the light on the quadrant won't come on anymore to signify that it is working properly. I am disappointed in that the quadrant did not work for a lifetime of use.

In reading other people's reviews, others had a problem with the throttle quadrant as well. It would make more sense to me if the quadrant had a USB connection instead of the round connector that was used for this device. I want a replacement of this product that does not work (throttle quadrant). I suppose that one could use the simulator's quadrant control panel if the product does go out till it can either be replaced with a refund of purchase price or a replacement of the part that does not work during the first 30 days.
