    Pros

Realistic feel that real-world pilots will appreciate!

    Cons

Rudder pedal usb cord could be longer. But extension would probably work. Also be careful when plugging/unplugging the throttle quadrant connector, it's a round plug like on a keyboard. Pins can be bent if not careful.

    General Comments

Worth every penny. Take your time and go through all button assignments to set it up like the real thing. Takes some time, but worth it. Saitek's the only way to go!

    Pros

Product was plug and play on my Windows Vista machine with FSX. Huge difference in overall experience compared with my previous joystick. With rudder tension turned all the way up, a physical throttle quadrant, programmable switches on the yoke, spring loaded resistance for the elevator, this unit is VERY realistic. These controls make FSX a real tool for learning to fly and practicing what you already know.

    Cons

Expensive for a game, cheap for flight training. The yoke does not always slide smoothly in certain control positions, tending to bind very very very slightly, but this actually mimics the feeling of real controls.

    General Comments

If you are on the fence over the price go ahead and buy it, you will be glad you did. Got is as a Christmas Gift and I now know if I would have bought this unit sooner I would have saved flight school training money.

    Pros

Nice feel, professional look. Ample buttons. Adds a ton to the flight simming experience.

    Cons

Could be just a little bit more rugged. The pedals are kinda loud when moving the rudder. I can hear the spring noise even with a headset on.

    General Comments

I also bought a Saitek keyboard, headset and I have the radio panel on the way. I'm very happy with the quality of the product, for the price. Wish they were a little more rugged, but since that would increase the cost I'm fine with the compromise they came up with.

    Pros

Great product for Flight Training on the days you can't fly.
    Easy to use.
Works great with FSX on Vista.

    Cons

You have to program the toe brake, prop pitch, and mixture to work. But thats really easy (read what to do on the Saitek website)

    General Comments

    Very good for Flight training.

    Pros

Very realistic, easy setup and configuration. I can't fly anymore for health reasons so using the yoke and rudder pedals with flight sim is the next best thing to really flying.

    Cons

Rudder pedals slide on the floor. I made a platform to anchor to that butts up against the wall.

    General Comments

Very good product and worth the price...

    Pros

Just about everything was at or better than expected. The yoke and rudders come very close to athentic feel due to the ability of being able to adjust tension.

    Cons

Was a little difficult getting yoke and throttle quadrant to sit level and steady on desk, but after awhile was able to get it level.

    General Comments

Great buy. Has good authentic feel and feed back. Controls are accurate but not too sensitive.

    Pros

The set-up instructions were easy and descriptive. The rudder pedal directions need to be followed to the letter to avoid the brakes always on error. I am running FS2004 and XP Pro so the specific FS2004 instructions in the rudder pedal manual (after a couple reads) fixed the brake always on issue I was initially having.

    Cons

    None yet.

    Pros

Seems to work well with MS Flight Sim 2004. The controls work ok except for the mixture control. It checks out ok with the diagnostics on the computer, but I can't seem to get it to work on the program. The throttle control works instantly, but I suspect either something in the program is not set right.
The rudder pedals should be mounted on something solid, so as
not to slide. There are two velcro attachments to stick on the bottom so they will not slide on carpet. The table mounts on both the yoke and the throttle quadrant are ok, but I think
they should extend a little deeper. They work on a regular
kitchen table but if it is a fold up plastic table the throat
of the mount is a little shallow and may come loose. I bought the Saitek units, because they appear to be better made than the CH products I have seen. The clock on the yoke is a good
idea. It boots up with the current time fine. All of the buttons are easy to deal with except the mixture control thing
in the program. I have been running approaches with the MS Flight Sim 2004 and it can be done well. The rudder pedals are a must if helicopters are flown. These have made a big difference in the flyability of these on the Simulator. Just a joystick is not enough to adequately control a helicopter.

I think the Saitek products are the best on the current market
for the price. They can be used with a good flight sim program
and, of course, a fast computer. I have a Laptop that runs
MS Flight Sim 2004 w/2Gb of ram and a 1.8Ghz cpu. This seems
to run fine. Landings are always interesting, as no computer seems to respond quickly enough. Could be the program also.

    Pros

Nice system. I like the look and feel of the components. Overall it was fairly straight forward installing the components to the computer. Just make sure you have the throttle quadrant connected to the yoke prior to hooking to the computer system. Makes install a lot easier.

    Cons

None so far. I've had the yoke and pedals for approx. three to four weeks and have worked well.
