Engine Intake Plugs

Keep your engine protected from debris and damage when not in use. These tight-fitting Plugs are also an extremely effective way to keep birds out of your engine compartment. Each set comes with your N-number embroidered on the plugs and red warning flags that are visible from the cockpit should you forget to remove them before flight.

Canopy Covers

Canopy covers help reduce damage to your airplane's upholstery and avionics caused by excessive heat, and can eliminate problems caused by leaky door and window seals. They also keep the windshield and window surfaces clean and help prevent vandalism and theft.

Heat Shields

Protect your avionics from damaging heat and your interior from harmful ultraviolet rays with these custom-made Heat Shields. Each custom tailored set covers all windows, and is made of metallized polyester film and closed cell foam. This material is lightweight and waterproof, and is a superb reflector of UV rays. Attaches directly to windows with suctions cups so there is no messy VELCRO®, and each set rolls up for compact storage. When ordering, you will receive a technical sheet that describes the different types of Heat Shields available and prices. Most sets cost around $200.00.

Bruce's Custom Covers offers protective covers and plugs for virtually every type of piston- or turbine-powered airplane and helicopter. This free technical sheet includes pricing and types of covers available for your aircraft. Cost for canopy covers is approximately $375.00 to $400.00. Cowl plugs cost approximately $70.00 to $100.00 per engine. Each cover or plug is custom-made to your specifications and can be delivered within three weeks.
