Carbon-X Stain Remover (One Gallon)
Now Available for Private Aircraft! Arrow Magnolia has been supplying airlines and corporate owners with industrial-strength cleaning supplies for years. Because of demands for large quantities, these chemicals were previously available only in large drums. Now through a special arrangement with Arrow Magnolia, Sporty's® offers these supplies in smaller quantities, better suited for your aircraft. We have used these products for years on everything from rentals to Hal's personal Aztec and feel confident you will be impressed with their performance. Carbon-X Removes exhaust deposits, fuel stains, oil and grease from the underside of fuselage, engine cowlings, wheel wells, etc. Dilutes 20 to 1; just spray on, let soak, then rinse clean—scrubbing is not necessary. Pleasantly scented and stainless, it leaves no oily film or residue. Safe to use on all aircraft finishes including exotic metals and composites. Also cleans driveways, motorcycles, boat and car engines. For use with dilution spray bottle. Meets Air Force Specification MIL-C-25769-E. Gallon size will last an entire season--a great value! |

 I was degreasing a motorcycle that had developed oil leaks. I had tried Greased Lightening, the Dawn dish soap, then gasoline. A friend, who is a pilot, loaned me some Carbon X. With this I was able to remove the heavier accumulation of oil and road grunge. I used about a 10-12 to 1 solution. For best results, no need to dilute product. ConsI have found that you must go back over painted surfaces with at least a mid soap and water to get any residue off to prevent any damage to paint. Fumes or any spray mist into the eyes is very unpleasant and burns greatly General CommentsWorking within the perameters of the product and wearing protective eye wear, this product works great. Black exhaust stains and oil spots wipe off like water on a counter-top. There is NO rubbing or buffing at all. You just have run back over the areas with a mid soap to get any residue off so as not to damage any of the aircraft's paint. I do recommend this to anyone, it helped me win at Sun 'n Fun back in 2000! |

It has proven very effective in all types of applications.
