Vernier Throttle Lock
This lock completely covers and locks your aircraft’s throttle and it's quick and easy to use. With a turn of the key your throttle is locked and impossible to use—effectively protects your aircraft from theft. One customer reports: "...thieves attempting to steal the airplane tried to break the lock by hammering it but broke the throttle shaft instead which prevented them from flying the plane." Constructed of heavy, high tensile steel and secured by a German stainless steel lock. The gray lock is designed for vernier-type throttles (push, pull and twist) or mixture controls, the orange for non-vernier-types (push and pull only). For use with single-engine aircraft with push-pull rod throttles. A simple-to-use, highly effective theft deterrent at a reasonable price. |

This product is definitely durable and would be very difficult to break. I did NOT order the orange one, so I cannot comment on that particular item. Cons It is a little heavier than I had hoped.
