It does provide better country shapes and major landmarks like highways and railways than what comes with the GPS, but not much more. ConsDetail in the Pacific was limited as advertised. General CommentsThis is a cheap way to improve the detail in the parts of the world outside of the base maps that are purchased with the Garmin units. I bought the US Maps version, but do some flying in the Pacific. This allows me to use the GPS with some basic references. |
