General Comments Have had the mount just a short time, and only had a few chances to use it. Attached it to the lower left side of my 182's windshield for minimal view obstruction. Flew 2.9 hours at 4,500 feet, temp of about 15F, and no turbulence. Mount stayed attached with no problems. Seems very solid. |

It will hold the Garmin making it easy to use from a comfortable angle and make it easy to view. ConsWhen the out side temp varys more than 20 degrees or you have more than a 5000' altitude change, be prepared to have the suction cup fail and your Garmin to fall. This has been the case many times with me. Also, the knuckle at the base wears out so you have to re adjust to the maximum limit to get the view you desire. It grips onto the window like a vice (simple twist of a lever attaches and releases it). It is very easy to position perfectly because it has a ball socket on each end. It is strong so it holds the desired position without slippage or vibration. ConsIt is a little heavy and bulky to store in the flight bag, but this is to be expected given how well it is made.
