Easy to use and install. Just set the red bug to the MDA or DH and the green and yellow indicate 500' and 200' to go, respectively. ConsSeems a bit pricey. It might be handy to know what size instruments were fitted to which aircraft types. I've flown GA aircraft for over 30 years and all the altimeters looked the same to me. I got the guys in my avionics workshop to measure the instrument installed in a similar type to mine. Sadly he got it wrong. ConsDifficult to size correctly on the instrument. The sticky back came off the glass very easily. The first one I received was broken and had to be sent back. Even when I did get a good one of the right size, rotating it around the bezel was very stiff and practically unusable. General CommentsI ended up going back to the simple suction pointer and this worked very well. Sporty's gave me credit on the transaction so I was happy with that, but I would not recommend this product. |

You need to remember so many things--setting this made for one less item for me to write down while flying blind. And its almost critical to have on approach to your Decision Altitude.
