I give them to all of my discovery flight customers...they LOVE the fact that they can go home that same day and show off their first official logbook entry! This is a temporary logbook with limited entries, so when they sign up for lessons they'll need a bigger book. But this is excellent for those first few lessons until they are sure they want to continue. |

They are perfect for that purpose. They walk away with a logbook showing one flight logged and a business card attached. If they never come back, it wasn't much loss, but maybe this will motivate some to return for more. ConsNot terribly suited for someone starting flight training due to the limited number of lines to log. It would do fine for a few lessons while they decided whether they were really interested, but I suspect folks would want to invest in a better logbook fairly quickly. Surprising how much the students love these things. It is a very inexpensive item to give out that most people will never throw away. We put a sticker on the front with our company name, logo, phone, and website. ConsNot meant to be a logbook for ongoing training. ConsThis is essentially a one-page log "book" with a paper cover. At $3.00 it's not worth my time to return it for credit so, it's hitting the trash can. What a waste. General CommentsThis is a worthless product. One page of data just doesn't cut it even for a student. If someone is paying the price of a CFI and aircraft rental, they should easily be able to cover the $20.00 - $30.00 cost of a real log book. |
