The bearings were not smooth turning and the stops on the top and bottom were removed and replaced so that the bearings would turn freely. We are coupling it with the frame we have had for years (the bearings gave out in our winds) so that it will be a strong frame with the extended sock frame. We attached it with screws as cable ties do not last long in the sun and weather. I hope the bearings will last as long as the first one.
