| I love what it does for cockpit organization. It was recommenced by someone on the Cherokee Chat. Cons Not really. Some might think it could be improved with removable pages but actually the pages are so easy to open and the take the "plate" out and put it in a yoke clip it is actually a good as removable pages. ConsInside covers are now dark green instead of white so the flight plan form and other info printed on them is worthless in low light. Cheap plastic sleeves are not durable. GO BACK TO MAKING THEM THE WAY YOU USED TO! There is nothing worse than using a product for 10 years only to have them change it to a cheap version just to save money. I used to recommend these to students and fellow pilots but I will not anymore. General CommentsI have used one of these since I started my instrument training over 10 years ago. They have lasted 2 to 3 years. Considering I fly for a 121 airline, that's pretty good! But the latest version is made with cheap, stiff mylar type plastic for the plate covers. They are NOT durable and are not going to last long. |
