I have the timer velcro'd to my panel where it reminds me of fuel changes. It works very well. The Zulu time is very nice to have available for you to switch back and forth with local time. Cons 1. The buttons feel a little cheap. When I switch from timer 1 to timer 2, I have to press the button just right to get it to switch over. Sometimes it's a little frustrating when it doesn't change over right away. In general the product works as described, however it could use a little improvement. |

Best part is that when used as a count-down timer, the little red LED flash -- to attract your attention. ConsYou simply can NOT hear the buzzer when your count-down time has expired; not when you're in a noisy cockpit with your noise-attenuating headset on. But the flashing LED lights go a fair way toward compensating, by visually announcing that your time has expired. General CommentsSporty's' designers did a fine job of designing this device for pilots flying instruments. Some previous reviewer mentioned that you will lose the clock time if you accidentally press the reset button when clock time is being displayed. This is true. My advice: don't press the reset button when the clock time is being displayed. Figure out something else to do with your fingers. |

Since I tend to fly the same approach more than once in a session, the auto reset is great. ConsI find the unit a little awkward to set when in the air.
