    It will work from your bag...does not need to be visible. Relatively accurate. Easy to use.

    Cons

    Takes a while to get satelite signal, but it isn't a big deal if you turn it on before you get in the plane.

    We are very happy with the Bad Elf GPS Pro. The unit works very well and exactly as advertised. Position overlay on I Pads for all of our apps (Foreflight, Arinc, Jepp FD) is flawless. We really like the data logging feature. Battery life is very good.

    Cons

    We lost the satellite signal in the cockpit of our Lear 60XR but it works well when positioned near the cabin window behind forward couch- no issues with losing the Bluetooth connection. Charging plug cover on back of unit is cheap and falls out.

    Works very well and the logging feature is great for maintaining a complete list of flights

    As is normally the case with new electronic components, there are always updates for the software and this is somewhat of a pain.

    Works as advertised with no thought setup! Unit is able to receive GPS signal without being placed on the dash. I have had good luck with unit in the copilot side pocket. Excellent battery life = as promised

    Small, easy to connect to bluetooth

    Cons

    Cheap ineffective plug cover. Unit needs a rubberized backing to prevent slipping and sliding when placed on flat surface.
