This planning chart is an ideal preflight planning tool for IFR or VFR flights below 18,000' MSL. Depicts victor airways, nav aids, airports (3,000' paved or with IAP), airspace classifications, Sectional/En Route chart boundaries, special-use airspace, state boundaries, cities, towns, prominent bodies of water and more. Perfect for flight case or wall display (requires two charts) in flight planning room. Chart is printed with eastern U.S. on front and western U.S. on back. Measures 40" x 36" open; 5" x 9" folded. This is the age of GPS and few care where the flyways are and vor stations etc. How about one which shows data ONLY pertanent to GPS flying? It needs to be a trip planning aid showing terrain, obstacles, VOR stations only, no lines, cities, airports and generally follow the format of a color GPS unit with topography ability (496).
