| As a student, I found the tape very nice to use on charts for multiple cross country planning exercises. I ordered all four and use multiple colors for differnt routes. I use a pencil to trace my planned route right on the tape and then remove it when I am done and that gives me a clean chart to use again. Looking for a pencil line to check your course and waypoints is a little on the tedious side sometimes. I recently started covering my routes with highlighter tape from Sportys and it has been a tremendous help in keeping up with the pace. You can clearly see through the tape to view altitudes and sectional information while at the same time having a highlighted route allows you to spend far less time looking things over, which is time we all need to be spending scanning for traffic.
