You can then quickly pull out the approach you need and put it on top of all the rest, or put it on your yoke clip. Start briefing the approach and not have to waste time undoing clips. It also keeps those approaches nice and prevents them from being ripped or torn. They can get used and used again. Conssome of the jep pages don't quite fit right in the protector. You get a small wrinkle or have to trim the sheet just a bit. It also requires a thicker binder depending on how many you use. I found that a jep set that takes a 1 inch binder normally would need a 2 inch binder to fit all of the protected sheets. General CommentsI am a private pilot working on my IFR rating. |

I have a metal key ring that I bought at an office supply store and keep the charts I use most often separate from the binder, but still using the protectors. I like these protectors because they have the extra punch hole in the corner to put a ring on them. |
