Comes with a bag and all the accessory cords for cell phone and I Pod. The phone cord is compatible with my LG500 phone. The headset is very comfortable and light weight. Sporty's support team was very helpful in giving the pros and cons of all their headsets. I finally settled on the X11 due to weight, reputation, accessories, price, and active noise canceling. I really like the plug-in capability for a iPod or into my 496 for music. On longer trips there isn't any pressure on the side of my head and the gel caps are really soft and easy to wear. I enjoy them so much I gave them as a gift to my CFII too. I highly recommend over any other headset I've tried. The sound quality is great if the batteries are good. The headset bag protects the headset. ConsIf the batteries need to be replaced in the air, it becomes passive and not the best for hearing ATC. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to protect their hearing and enjoy their flight without a heavy headset. |

ConsHad it replaced in the first week, many compatibility problems with various aircraft old and brand new as well as with other passengers. Those with ANR could not hear me. The only sure fire way to get it to work all the time was to turn the ANR off permanently. General CommentsI have had David Clarks for over eleven years and loved them. To say I was disappointed with the X11 would be an understatement! If I had my choice again I'd buy the Bose. Sad really because the X11 is much lighter and a better design. This problem was not confined to me I have since met several X11 owners with the same problem. |
