    Pros

    Was exactly as expected.

    Simple to use.

The mic seems to pick up everything and minimise background sounds even without a 'sock'.

The clothes clip thing is very effective.

    Cons

    So far no real cons.

    General Comments

What was expected, lived up to the David Clark reputation.

    Pros

    Excellent value for the money.
Very comfortable. Just finished a 3 hour flight from Minneapolis with no discomfort when removing the headphones. Very comfortable A++.
Audio of crystal clear and loudness is great with variability.
Mic actually reaches my lips and stays there. My Sigtronics did not.

    Cons

Still a little noisy in a Cub. Engine noise is very strong in a J3 so intercom talk is not always completed properly. Of course, that could well be a function of the intercom noise pickup and not the headset noise rejection. No problems in other aircraft.

    General Comments

This is a great headset. The quality and performance is great and no need to qualify with 'for the money'. If you are looking for a great headset at a very reasonable price, go no further.

    Pros

The ear gels and head cushion make the headset comfortable and the volume control on the side makes it convenient.

    Cons

The mic sometimes doesn't pick up voice and sometimes picks up background noise.

Bought these for my flight lessons. They are great. One of the little plastic wire clips was broken when they arrived. Sent email to DC customer service and the next day they shipped out some replacement clips. I am happy all around with this purchase. I am convinced I made a good investment.

As a new student to the aviation industry, and with this being the first headset I've ever used, it seems to do the job that it was meant to do reliably. I have no complaints about this pair of headsets.

    Pros

They make the best, high quality headsets on the market, what else is there to say.

    Cons

I would have like a coiled cord to prevent chances of the cord getting hung up on something in the cockpit. Plug outlets in a Cub are above your head, so the excess cord hangs down and can get in the way.

    General Comments

I waited to buy the best and I wasn't disappointed.

    Pros

I have two of these, the first I have had for 20 years. The second I just bought a few weeks ago, and both are good quality and work nicely.

    Cons

If you are planning an airline career, buy something else. The comfort level is good for cross countries of about three hours, then becomes uncomfortable.

    General Comments

    I would purchase again.

    Pros

Love this headset. Used all types of sunglass temples, and it works from the skinniest AOs to a bulky pair of Wiley-Xs. The volume knob clicks and stays in place with great range. Very very comfortable and clear transmission and receiving.

    Cons

4 Stars because I'm sure you can buy a less expensive with the same comfort, but even talking to other military aviators, they use this same headset for their private aircraft, too.

    General Comments

From my experience, I don't feel the headset so much while it's on as when I take it off. With other more economical headsets, taking them off is when I realized how much it was uncomfortable. With the H10-30, I don't feel that all.
