I didn't want to spend 2-3k on a new audio panel so this worked out to be a great solution. Used with Lightspeed it was a good as the garmin in the new airplanes ConsA few too many wires all over the place but once you start flying you forget all about the wires. I had an old Sigtronics 2-place intercom and I just couldn't hear the other person when my handheld radio was plugged into it! ConsI have it plugged into the ship's power. If I forget to turn it off after the flight -- I think the two 9-volt batteries will keep going. Bottom line -- I have to remember to turn it off when not in use! General CommentsGood value |
