Bleed valve makes adjustment a snap so you can dial-in the exact pressure you want. I am going to base my reliability rating on the previous example I owned, which lasted about 20 years before going out of calibration by a couple of psi. I'm picky! :) ConsThe rubber coating and shock-proofing on this new version isn't as thick or soft as the older version. Whether that's good or bad I can't say for sure, but it seems cheaper to me.
