| Coming from the MRX, the XRX is a big step forward. On the little display screen, a radar like image shows where the traffic is located (display mode B, not shown on the product picture). Up to three little dots show up. This is amazing. The angular resolution is great (30 degrees). Cons The device has a cooling fan that is about as loud as a turn indicator. Very annoying when trying it out at home or in a car. In the plane though, it's not an issue. Far exceeded my expectations. It raises my fun flying. Our air space here in San Diego is very crowded. Finally I can see the traffic on a radar screen. |

I finally resorted to carrying a small (dark so no reflection) towel with me that I can fold to varying thicknesses to provide a soft, non-slippery, level spot on almost any dash.
