Date - 6-4-2008 Pilot Rating - Commercial OverallDurability Reliability Value Usability Expected Recommended Yes | Great way to color-code toggle switches; for my purposes I put White on "lights" (nav, landing, taxi), Green on those that should be on during flight (strobe / beacon), and Red on those that should not (Prop de-ice, Fuel pump) ConsThe covers do prevent you from seeing the amperage rating that is stamped on the end of toggles (at least in Cessnas); but as long as you're aware of that, they're easy enough to quickly pull off in case you need to shed power in-flight, etc. General CommentsOnce you have the color-coordination set in your plane, it's much quicker to just glance at the toggles in flight and know which should be on and which should be off, without even reading the labels of each toggle (of course, this item is most usable for owned rather than rented planes). |
