Nice little plotter that fits in my knee pad without jabbing my leg. For the amount of line- drawing I do, this is perfect.

Has WAC, SEC and TAC scales. Small enough for your kneeboard.

Hard to see the tiny numbers if you are over forty.

    General Comments

I've seen a freebie one from AOPA that is easier to read.

    Cons

I found this unusable in TCA;s, and i am based in class b airspace.

The TCA nautical miles scale has NO numbers on it !!!!

Though there are numbers on the statute mile tca scale, the numbers are so small and thin as to be unreadable when placed on an actual chart.

It is as if the device were designed on a computer in enlarged view, but when shrunk to the mini format, without white background the lettering/numbers are impossible to read. Just look at the lettering/numbers where it says its tca scale :
    "Terminal Area Scale 1= 250.000"
I had to use a magnifying glass while holding the scale over my white computer screen in order to read it.

    come on guys, get real.

    General Comments

I wasted my money on ths mini scale. I have been using full size
CP-1 LX for several decades..... so the mini seemed the solution to my old one being too large for my new flight bag....but it was just a waste of money.

    Cons

only one side is laminated, the other side which also has information can be easily scratched. But, some TLC should plong the life of the unlaminated side.

For anyone who has ever needed to get a radio fix re-established or needed to snag a different VOR radial because the intended VOR was not operating or your CFI/CFII had you fly into the boonies and then "fix" your way back out, This plotter is a must. I keep mine with my kneeboard.

    Cons

Until the single-engine cockpit has fold-down drafting tables, there are no other cons to having a sectional, TAC chart, plotter, computer, kneeboard, frequencies in one proximal place right between the pilot and controlled flight.

It's a nice-size plotter (8 inches, about 55 nm on a sectional) that works once you figure out how to work it.

    Cons

Unfortunately I threw away the instructions when I opened it -- it's a plotter, right? The use is a bit counterintuitive (at least to a new pilot); the compass is printed in reverse, so you line the ruler up with the course and then find a lat/long line on the protractor. Once I figured this out, it was smooth sailing (flying?).

    General Comments

It's a plotter. It works just fine. Read the instructions.

Perfect size for use in a notebook or kneeboard, where a normal plotter is just a little too big for use inside the airplane.

It was advertised under a picture of the Ultimate Rotating plotter, so I thought this was just a smaller version of the same item. It is not. It does not have the rotating wheel. Now that I am used to it, I have found that it works fine without that feature, but the adv was a bit deceptive.

Small, easy to use. Fits in top pocket nicley.

    Cons

When in turbulence and making sure I have the right scale it is hard to read. Scale writing a little small. I'm from Australia so I'm not used to the sectional scale anyway or the statute miles, but I'm getting there.

    General Comments

Good product. Glad I brought it. Was what I needed and it got me through an American flight test.
