He purchased it for me for my birthday, in order to be able to use my bag, I purchased a second one for him. I like that you can also personalize the bag. The leather is good quality and soft and it has plenty of pockets. The stiching on the bag appears to be durable and there is plenty of padding so the equipment doesn't get damaged. Cons I don't care for the dual zippers. There is a leather cord that attaches to both zippers and I find it difficulty to zip. The zippers seem to stick and are not the best quality but in fairness to the product, they haven't jammed or broke yet. I also wish there was more useable space inside the bag. Had the first bag not had my initials on it, I would have been tempted to purchase another product at a reasonable price. I am a shopper and the pricing on this bag is a premium, especially since the bag is not made in America or Europe. Overall, being a new pilot, it is pretty cool to carry a leather flight bag with your initials on it. If the zippers continue to work, I believe it could last for years. |
