Battery life is still unknown. ConsBacklighting for the VERY small internal LCD indicator is entirely inadequate and the incandescent coating on the hour/minute hands do not provide much after-dark "glow" time. Night lighting/visibility is not so good...could use some improvement! But, for the price, I would still rank this watch as a good overall value. General Comments Greetings to Hal and all the nice folks at Sportys. I miss seeing all of you. Your regular trips to AOPA (Frederick) were always a welcomed event. Best wishes!!! |

Black leather band and watch case make a smart-looking package. Metal casing an improvement over previous plastic ones. ConsDigital figures are more difficult to read (need reading glasses) and the light doesn't help that much. An indiglow light that illuminates the entire watch face would be preferable.
