This course explains many things that I had doubts about. I am technically savvy and gadget oriented as an orthopaedic surgeon and lifeling tinkerer as well as having held an Amateur Extra license for much of my life, so when I end up confused reading the FAA texts, then something is wrong. This course really addresses difficult topics well. I sure have a lot to learn!! |

I bought this course to 're-do' my ground school to finish my private pilot license that are started 10 years ago. It has met that purpose very well. The questions are relevant and to the point. ConsWhile the video tutorials are great, I would like to see some computer based training involved as well (not just DVD movie questions). Such as situational mini-simulations with what if scenarios built in. General CommentsThis is a great product that can help you get a good jump start on your private pilot license. Well worth the money when compared to how much you would be paying an instructor to teach you the same information; not to mention you can go back and review at any time. It is nice to be able to review flight technique and maneuvers before each flight lesson to get the most our of your time with the instructor. |

Took some of the quizzes after each section and they did not follow that lesson and required you to know more than what they discussed. This is NOT a self-study program, you still have to go to ground school with an instructor to learn. General CommentsCustomer service was outstanding. I will definitely do business with Sporty's again. They are an excellent company/store this just was not what I was expecting. Again, the customer service was extremely friendly and helpful. No questions asked when returning items just explanations on how to return and courteous staff. |
