White is very bright, and red is perfect at night. Conseasy to push the switch in to far and get white light when all you want is red, be prepared to be blinded if you don't twist the end to where you won't get white. A bit expensive! The intensity options seem to be just right for all phases of night flight. The clip on the side of the light allows you to clip the light to a seat belt. Cons It doesn't operate quite the way one might expect and takes some getting used to. You have to twist it to get each light intensity, and keep twisting it to change to the next. This is a really well built light. My comments about the button are minor compared with the quality of the product. |
