Date - 9-3-2008 Pilot Rating - Student Overall  Durability Reliability Value Usability Expected Recommended Yes |  This lapel pin is nice looking, durable, made very well, and the cost (in my opinion) was fair. The colors are brilliant and sharp. The art is very clear, and upon first sight you know the person wearing it is a pilot - which I like. I received compliments on it the first day I wore it. ConsIt really needs tiny spikes on the outer edges of it to keep it from 'spinning'. On a tie at least, the wings will not remain 'straight and level'. It may wear differently on a jacket which I have not tried yet. But I speculate that it will not remain 'straight & level' at all times on a coat or blazer either, just from my experience wearing it on my tie. General Comments I love the pin. I just really believe that if it had tiny little spikes on underbelly side, on the outer edges, it would better grip your garment or tie, be more stable, and be better equipped to remain 'straight & level' at all times. |
