| This book covers a lot of information. Information is easy to find. Cons Although the book covers a lot of information, it has a tendency to have shallow knowledge about a few things; but it tells you what it is, just not a lot about it. I would say this is a great book for someone who wants to know pretty much everything, including generic commercial ops. The information would be WAY too much for a new private pilot. However, a seasoned pilot would/should know this information anyway. Still a nice way of keeping sharp. I found my self saying "Ohh, that’s nice to know" a few times, after calculating the velocity which a tire will hydroplane. The information in the book has cartoon graphics as well as actual pictures in the pages. Some have commentary. If you’re a plain text kind of person, stay away they will drive you insane. If you don’t mind pictures and stuff on your pages, give it a shot. So you decide, I thought it was good. |
