VOR & NDB SIM (CD-ROM)
VOR*SIM™ on CD-ROM and its companion, NDB*SIM™, make mastering VOR and NDB navigation simple and inexpensive. Both of these programs are self-contained, interactive, graphical simulations that allows you to drag aircraft anywhere on screen, rotate the knob of the corresponding instrument and locate aircraft positions exactly how it would be done in the aircraft. There is a clever tutorial built into the software as well as demonstrations and a complete history and explanations assistant. The “Find Aircraft” tool randomly positions the aircraft and hides it from view so you can locate its position. Both were developed by a veteran FAA Certified Ground Instructor and are in use in FAA Part 141 Ground School Courses. All programs run on Windows. |
