best aopa yet,last one I bought was 3 years ago and this is a much better example full of new info.

Sadly, not the directory it once was

Lightweight

Print size too small to read easily. Lack of useful information, lack of lodging info, lack of FBO details, lack of FBO ads, lack of informatin about pilot services, aircraft services, rentals etc. available at each FBO.

I was quite disappointed in this product. First that I had to pay for something AOPA once provided free as a service to its members. Second, that despite paying for this item it is not the AOPA directory of old which once was quite a valuable document. AOPA has eliminated FBO advertisements which often helped me choose among available FBOs by providing detail regarding services available and attitude toward smaller aircraft customers. They have also eliminated lodging info. They no longer include a list of pilot services, aircraft services, and rental information for each FBO.

Sadly, this printed document is merely a data download of the AOPA online directory which despite its online nature contains very limited information about individual FBOs, and sometimes contains outdated info. I cannot recommend this directory as having much useful information and can only hope that AOPA will bring back the former Airport Directory that I have used for nearly 20 years.

not worth the price.

Single source for all public airport info. No need to search multiple volumes to find the airport desired.

What can I say, AOPA wrote the book on airports! It's all here! What ever you need to know about an airport, it's here!

If you take off, you have to land -- and it's always a good thing to know as much about what you are going to find at your destination. It's all here in an easy to use format. If you need to know about ANY airport, then it's in here! This is something you need to have in your flight bag when ever you fly cross country.

Thick cover and size make the guide useful.

However, contains little more information than the FAA guide and is three times the price.

Just use the FAA guide.
